The Regional Municipality of Peel
By-law number 19-2024

A by-law to implement nighttime heavy truck restriction on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) between Terry Fox Way / Silken Laumann Way and Queen Street and to implement heavy truck restriction and revise axle load weight restriction on Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) between Regional Road 14 (Mayfield Road) and Ballinafad Road / Wellington Road 42,; and to amend By-law number 15-2013 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 24th day of January 2013 passed By-law 15-2013 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 21st day of March, 2024 authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law 15-2013 to implement heavy truck restriction on Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) between Terry Fox Way / Silken Laumann Way and Queen Street from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 21st day of March, 2024 authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law 15-2013 to implement heavy truck restriction on Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) between Regional Road 14 (Mayfield Road) and Ballinafad Road / Wellington Road 42, anytime;

AND WHEREAS, the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 21st day of March, 2024 authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend By-law 15-2013 to revise axle load weight restriction on Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) from Regional Road 14 (Mayfield Road) to Ballinafad Road / Wellington Road 42, March and April;

Now therefore, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 18 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 as amended be further amended by deleting the following:

  2. That Part 18 of Schedule A of By-law 15-2013 as amended be further amended by adding the following:
